ALPE DI SECEDA (ITALY), MAMIYA 645, KODAK PORTRA 400

Seceda, or Alpe di Seceda, is a mystical peak rising from the enchanted Puez Odle Nature Park in Val Gardena. This majestic mountain is a crown jewel in the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site, where earth touches sky in a dance of stone and light.

I captured this ethereal moment on 120 film—Kodak Portra 400, a medium that seems to breathe life into landscapes—using my trusted Mamiya 645, a medium format film camera that feels like a portal to another world.

This image was born during a transcendent trail run through the Dolomites, where each step felt like floating between realms.

The story of this magical journey is captured in a video, available on my YouTube channel for those who wish to share in the wonder.
